Hi,

I'm Rasmus Rosengren and I'm a software engineering student at Chalmers University of Technology. Currently I'm working on my Master's degree in Computer Networks and Systems.

Technical proficiencies

I've encountered many technologies during my years of programming, the following is a non-exhaustive list of technologies I consider myself (fairly) proficient with. My main areas of interest within software engineering are computer security and project architecture.

• Javascript/Typescript
  • NodeJS/express for backend
  • React, NextJS, Svelte for frontend
• Java
  • Mostly used during studies, not my favourite language
• C#
  • A little bit of Unity
• C++
  • Graphics and game programming
• Rust
  • Currently my favourite language, I use it for most things, such as web development, graphics and cli tools.
• Graphics/OpenGL
  • I'm no designer, nor a fan of user interface programming, but I do like 2D and 3D graphics programming for games. I've mostly used OpenGL, but I've also tried Vulkan a few times with little success.
• GraphQL
  • The concept is great, but I've mostly used it for the type-safety between frontend and backend.
• Linux and server management/configuration
  • I daily drive linux
  • I've set up a few linux servers/virtualized environments
• Docker
